After a week of beer avoidance and general computer geek madness, Sneaky Pete rolls across the line with an impressive 2.29% weight loss just ahead of the George who carried himself across the line well!

Many of the riders experienced great stress and anxiety through the week, the support of the peloton helped them get though.  VL1 Champion, Scott, commented “Knowing I have to reveal my weight at the end of the week was truly a motivating factor.  I had a lot of crap on my plate, I think I ate well.”  Entering his second VL competition, Jess also remembered the honeymoon weight loss in the beginning.  ”I remember those days, now I’m fighting to break the 210 barrier.”

As we have seen in the past, the early stages are as unpredictable as a balm!  See you in a week!

  • With the race on the line, Berhnard uncorked one of the biggest losses in VeloLosers history, with a 3.09% loss in the final week of VeloLosers 2.  Unfortunately for him, the hard working man from Indianapolis, Ken was able to stay focussed and roll into Paris in wearing the Yellow Jersey and keeping the lead becoming only the second man to win a VeloLosers competition!

Obviously excited about the win, Ken is looking forward to VL3 which started today.  ”I’ve still got more to lose!”.  Visually shattered by the defeat, VeloLosers 1 winner, Scott only said he would be back for VL3 looking to get back on the podium again.

The field is assembling and headed down the road to Madrid.  Many of the VL3 competitors are continuing with some new attackers on the way!  Registration will be open for the next 5 days.

VeloLosers 3 competitors lost over 100 pounds in just 9 weeks!  One ride at a time!

  • While it may be late in the game, Don has found his form coming into the big show down in Paris.  Posting an impressive sprint for 1.34% loss, Don not only wins the stage but leaves the 280’s behind!  Tammy – knocking on the barrier of her own weight loss milestone scores a second place with a .87% and Scott rolls in with .45%.  Scott was cautiously optimistic as he reviewed the results.  ”I lost this week, but nothing compared to last week.  I’ve got Ken and Jess ready to take a run on the finish.  I’ve got Tammy right behind me – I would Win VL2 or I could lose the podium all together!  I have to have the best week of the competition!”

Don was asked for his comments on the stage and all he could reply was “Woooooooooooooohhhhhhhoooooooooooooooooo”!

Adding to the drama – it turns out that Ken’s house guest has been looking for secrets in the Don – camp.  Insiders have also seen Scott working out deals for Fudrucker’s delivery – more on this as the story develops!

With the Yellow Jersey off racing around the country – the shock and awe attack presented by Ken was both expected and violent!  After an off week, working in an official capacity, Ken unleashed an attack that has utterly and completely shaken up the race!  Other competitors were left nearly speachless.  ”I lost almost 2% and could only barely hold his wheel … then he attacked again!” said the VeloLosers 1 champion.

Ken’s 2.55% loss was the second largest in VeloLosers 2.  Jess has not only lost his yellow jersey to this massive attack, but fallen .09% behind Scott.  This will make the final two weigh ins ever critical.  Ken has shown good closing speed.  Scott has the experience.  Can Scott hold off the attacks from Jess and Ken going into the final?  At this point, stage wins are important but the overal GC looms large in the front runners minds.  ”I left VeloLosers 1 a champion, anything short of that will be hard to swallow. ” said Scott.  Ken touts his up’d metabolism for his big loss.  An unfortunately timed business trip may have derailed his time in the Yellow.

Can Scott move up that 1 position after moving up 5 this week?  Will Jess rally back into the lead?  At least 8 riders are in striking distance!
